Aaron Thuringer | Social Media & Content Producer

Aaron Thuringer specializes in telling your story. The chic term is “social media,” but in reality, it’s across all media. If you want your message to reach the largest possible audience in the most creative ways, Aaron is your guy.

Professionally, Aaron started working in social media in late 2007, while it was still an “experimental” field. He was fascinated by its practical applications and when it became mainstream in early 2009, he knew he had found what he wanted to do with his life.

In 2009, Aaron pursued a Master’s Degree, studying and applying communication theories to help better define what social media was. Most of his academic work in social media was focused on political communication.

While pursuing the degree, Aaron worked in the Creative Services department of Phoenix’s PBS station, Eight/KAET, and helped brand the station across different online media. In 2011, Aaron won an Emmy for Special Achievement in Interactivity for his work on Eight/KAET’s 50th Anniversary Web site.
